Behind NATURAL DECAY

When nature fights back. I have often wondered what the world would look like if humans were to be wiped out, leaving our belongings behind for mother nature to clean up after.
Interestingly so, I happened to come across this section of my garden wall the other day. A tree that lies above it had a 'leak' and was pouring sap over the few top panels of the yellow wall. Obviously science came into play, as the sap and the wall paint did not agree, and the sap started to eat away at the paint.
Different textures and consistencies began to stick to the wall, and at the same time, peel off. Not only did this cause the paint to start to warp and peel off, but it produced the most warm and earthly colours around.
Wax, from the sap solidifying, had cradled itself between the leaves of the greenery below, which, as it became to heavy, fell further down, pulling a huge section of the paint down with it.
I was tremendously happy that I got to capture this one act of 'natural decay'. And if this was just in my back garden, imagine the endless decay elsewhere?
